I think we can all agree that being sick sucks. We don’t want to get out of bed. We don’t want to see others. We don’t even want to eat.

When you’re an entrepreneur, you don’t get sick days though. A few days ago, I was really sick. My agenda was full. Life went on when I just wanted time to pause. But I knew I had to continue.

The first thing I did was research online natural remedies that would help me within a short time. If I was to postpone anything, it couldn’t be longer than 24 hours. Some appointments couldn’t wait so I had to prioritize. I only took the utmost important appointments that day. I also found an alternate way of executing a task especially if I couldn’t manage physically.

I found online that ginger is powerful when it comes to certain ailments. So, for the first time in my entire life, I drank ginger tea. You can’t always prevents illnesses but that doesn’t mean you can’t be proactive when you’re not well. Once sick, my goal was to get back on my feet as soon as possible. That research really helped. Within 24 hours of using natural remedies, I was beginning to feel better. Thank God!

I also had Memphis to take care of so you know I couldn’t be down under for long. That’s one downside of being an entrepreneur and mother. You’re never off the clock. So if you want to run your own business, do take this into consideration. You will get through it and then it’s back to business as usual!
